Seahawks Dump Thunder, Host Thrashers Sunday - Nov. 15, 2009

The St. Stephen Seahawks visited the AQ Molson Thunder on Saturday Night for the second meeting of the season. While the first game between the two teams resulted in a shootout win for the S'Hawks, the second meeting was much different as the Seahawks squad crashed the Thunder 9-4.

The Seahawks held period leads of 3-1 and 5-3 before closing out the game with a 9-4 win. Jeff Macauley and Joel Walker each had 2 goals and an assist while Adam Nelson had a five point night picking up a goal and 4 helpers.

Brad Burns, Sean Turner and Ray Fitzpatrick each had a goal and an assist while Jeremy Turgeon rounded out the S'Hawks goal scoring. Justin Roy picked up a couple helpers while Amos Arseneault, Shawn Mersereau and Eric MacDonald each had an assist.

Nick Nozzolillo picked up the win in goal, stopping 24 of 28 Thunder shots.

The Seahawks are hosting the Tri-County Thrashers for a rare Sunday tilt at the Border Arena on Sunday, November 15 th. Game time is 6:00 P.M..
