Lining up for the faceoff, the Seahawks Josh Cloney and Hawks heavyweight Jesse Paul exchanged a few words and dropped the mitts. Cloney landed a flurry of punches and when Paul went down continued to land some big shots until the refs hauled him back. The fight brought the crowd to their feet and the Seahawks came out flying after the melee, with Jeff Gregor scoring his second of the game just 38 seconds later.

With just under 3 minutes left in the game Shawn Mersereau poked in a loose puck giving the Seahawks the 7-4 win. The Seahawks outshot the Hawks 47-30. Nick Nozzolillo picked up the win in goal for the Seahawks.
